Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Designer Spotlight!
I was so incredibly honored to have my vignette chosen for the Designer Spotlight! I worked very hard on this vignette, it was inspired by Paula Cheney's vignette for the Tim Holtz Sizzix holiday release of the Paper Village dies. I changed mine a bit, I added a church with a bell, it was not easy tying that little bitty bell into the steeple. The log house in the upper left corner was inspired by the Tim Holtz FB holiday demo. All the trees are Idea-ology, I learned how to color them on the Tim Holtz FB demos as well. I love the Idea-ology fence on the bottom, I've had that for awhile, I just adore it. The smiling moon is from a Halloween Idea-ology pack, I hate to admit it but I bought the entire pack just for that moon. Now that Christmas is over I think I'm going to hang this up in my home office where I do most of my crafting, some things need to be enjoyed all year around.

Altenew Beautiful Bergenia 3D Embossing
I made a lidded box from cardstock. I took Altenew's Beautiful Bergenia 3D embossing folder and heavy white cardstock, misted the paper with water and ran it through the Big Shot. The texture is breathtaking!
I used a pink ink pad and ran it over the raised areas to add color, a few times to darken the color in a few areas.
After dry, I ran a embossing ink pad and a dabber over the entire panel and poured clear embossing powder, heated it with a heat gun and it magically looks like ceramic! I cut pieces to fit the box, attaching it with Distress Collage Medium, the strongest adhesive I know of.
The box is pretty strong, perfect for storing small items or even use as a giftbox.
