a lot.
The beautiful Serenade of Autumn Collection from Spellbinders, is such a good one. I can't stop using this Autumn Serenade 3D Embossing Folder.. This time, clean and simple. I used some 85 lb cream cardstock and for once remembered to mist my paper before embossing it. Yep, it does leave a better impression but it also warped the paper, I had to put it under a book. Not too heavy though, I didn't want to flatten the embossing.
The Sealed Sprigs dies are gorgeous. With long stems, they would look great with the wax seals Spellbinders has. I don't have any so I decided to just pair it with a long thin sentiment.
The sprigs look better with a little bit of Distress ink around the edges. Just a little touch, that to me, really adds a lot.
A pretty simple card for today, so the little touches matter. I did have to trim the stems off at the bottom because they were a bit too long on this A2 card. I popped only one of the pink flowers.
A added a small gold Glimmer sentiment, and put a bit of Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink on it just to match.
