I've been using the Sizzix Layered Stencils for a while now. My favorite this Spring is the Botancial Border. I used cool colors of Distress Oxide inks in Villainous Potion, Mowed Lawn, Salvage Patina, Twisted Citron and Faded Denim.
Layered Stencils look great and make coloring easy but sometimes it's hard to exactly match up the stencils. Sad when you finish a card and realize areas aren't matched up properly. There are holes in the Sizzix stencils that match up to the pegs on the Sizzix Stencil and Stamp tool. MUCH easier to align the stamps. Plus, the tool has sticky grid on the surface which keeps the cardstock in place, no accidental shifting.
The lid of the tool is removable, which comes in handy when placing stamps on it, you can see if the stamp is straight by using the engraved lines on the lid. I have the old Tim Holtz Stamping Platform and I loved that you could take the lid off.
Below are the supplies for this card, I have affiliate links, if you use them to make a purchase, I receive a small commission, at no cost to you. Thank you for using them, it encourages me to continue providing information and samples.
