The Sizzix "Frond" stencil set by Stacey Park was just released. I used the 4 piece set to ink up this panel. I then took one layer and dry embossed and fussy cut the image since there aren't any diecuts to this set.
If you've never dry embossed a stencil, it's the same technique as dry embossing dies. You just place the stencil and vellum on a Silicone Rubber pad and run it through your diecutting machine. It will leave a raised image on the paper (or vellum in this case). I then fussy cut the image out.
I used a heavy vellum that Tiffany Solario recommended in a YouTube video. It's very thick and reasonably priced. Here is the link to that video, I think she has an affiliate link in her description.
The background is inked with Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Salvaged Patina and Scattered Straw. The sentiment is included on one of the stencils. I inked it in Black Archival Ink.
Thats it for today, here's a list of my supplies with affiliate links. If you use my link, I receive a small commission for the ideas and techniques I share, and I really appreciate those who have.
