Susanbcards: Boos Cocktails!

Halloween! I know not everyone makes Halloween cards but this one I think can work for other occassions as well by changing the sentiment. There's some pretty funny ones from Spellbinders "Happy Hour Collection", you can see the entire collection HERE

This could be a great girl's night out invitation or thank you note!

I used a sentiment from a different collection, I'll link it below.

I started with the "Olive Martinis" glass and added the "Boos! Cocktails" set for the Halloween vibe. You can buy the glass and then add on the other sets to make seasonal or theme cards. There's also a Christmas one that's pretty cute, I'll make that one soon!

I cut the glass from metallic cardstock once and an extra from black cardstock. I wanted a bit of dimension.. The "drink" inside the glass is just black cardstock painted with metallic watercolors.

For the skeleton hand I used a little light grey ink to blend the edges of the white cardstock and age it. same with the skulls in the glass.

I ink blended the edge of the purple cardstock base with Villianous Potion Distress Oxide. I think that extra step adds a lot. It makes the center of the card appear to glow.

The envelope is a beautiful weight, from Paper Source. I just have one in my stash but their envelopes are so pretty. I added the wax seal for a little special something. It's made from gold wax and I used the Spellbinders Boo! seal. These would be so cute on treat bags!

The bats were cut 3x and stacked and I used Wink of Stella to add a bit of shimmer.
