Witchin' Heels by Spellbinders

The Spellbinders Happy Hauntings Collection is full of cute images perfect for Halloween! Here is a link to the full collection. Also check out my other posts using "Skully" and "Fiona the Dancin' Witch".

I made the background on Distress Heavystock Cardstock, cut to 4.25"x 5.5". I leaned it in the box an sprayed Fortune Teller and Snow Flurries Distress Mica Stain Sprays on the paper and let it drip, spraying the paper with a bit of water. I added a few spritzs of Distress Spray Stain in Brushed Pewter and Unchartered Mariner and let all the colors mingle a bit.

The moon is just cut from a circle die and sprayed with Flickering Candle Mica Spray and Mustard Seed Stain Spray and a bit of  water.

I diecut the witch from black glitter cardstock, red glitter for the shoes and orange glitter cardstock for the pumpkin, all just scraps from my stash.

The sentiment is from the "Skully" BetterPress set, I found if you use the BetterPress plate on metallic cardstock it looks engraved into the paper. I didn't use any ink with it. I did try both the BetterPress ink and Stazon ink, but neither showed up, so instead I wiped off my plate and just did it with no ink.

That's it. The best way to make a spray background is spritz, mist and dry.
