Susanbcards: Tim Holtz for Sizzix Vault Collection: Noteworthy, Industrial, Edges

I received the 3 of 5 of the latest Tim Holtz Vault Collection for Sizzix from Scrapbookcom. Noteworthy, Industrial and Edges.

For my first card, I used all 3 pieces of all 3 sets. The cute little clipboard is from the Noteworthy set.

The Edges set cuts the alphabet and the edge of a piece of paper. This one looks like I ripped it out of a spiral notebook.

The rest is from Industrial. I put it in a tray while I'm working with it, to keep it organized. The trays are from Scrapbookcom, I have the magnetic sheets from Amazon.

The background paper is from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Vault paper, Abandoned. It's sold out in a lot of places but I believe some stores will be restocking it. But once it's gone, that's it.

To get all the pipe grunginess, I used Distress Sprays in Old Paper, Scattered Twigs and Mowed Lawn. After it was dry, I took some Refined Copper Lunar paste and randomly brushed it onto the pipes. Everything else was cut from scrap paper.

For the sentiment on the paper, I just printed that on my computer. It's a great card for my husband who always has a huge list of things he has to get done around the house.

My second card uses the small folder as the centerpiece. This folder is much smaller than the original folder die. I like that it fits on the front of an A2 card. The stamps come from a Tim Holtz stamp set called Field Notes. The field diecut is from a dieset called Flower Field. I sprayed a piece of Distress Heavystock with Mustard Seed, Pink Flamingo, Picked Raspberry for the tops of the flowers and Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn for the grass.

The sentiment is from a Tim Holtz stamp set called Tiny Text. I put a small, thin magnet behind the arrow/circle and behind the folder to allow it to open and close.
