Simon Says Stamp “Mandala Blossoms”

 

Simon Says Stamp has a new release called, You’re My Favorite. I received the Mandala Blossoms stamp set. There are also matching dies and stencils but I don’t have those.

I really like to try to make my stamped images unique, since I’m not a skilled colorist. I decided to use an old SSS die called “Arched French Doors” with it.

I stamped the floral image 2x and colored them exactly the same. I then placed the French door die over one of the images and diecut it. 

The window panes cut out and I discarded them. I diecut 2 more plain white panels and glued them to the back so the diecut panel would stand up off the other colored panel. 

I carefully placed the door panel over the colored panel. I placed the entire thing over a fuchsia mat. I stamped the sentiment in the corner.
