Sizzix Love Letters by Willow Wolfe Stamping

I don't do much stamping but when I saw the new Willow Wolfe collection from Sizzix, I had to try one of the sets. I ordered the Love Letters set. You can see the entire collection by clicking HERE.

I stamped the images in Black Soot Archival ink, Archival ink is good to use with the Distress Oxides I used, they stay permanent. But don't use Archival Ink with alcohol ink markers, it'll smear.

I used Distress Oxide inks for the background, Scattered Straw, Rusty Hinge, Hickory Smoke and Faded Jeans. I ended up putting some regular Distress inks on a glass mat, misting them with water and painting the flowers and leaves. I used a mix of Saltwater Taffy, Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness.

The fun part of the set is that it has some cursive text and postmark stamp to fill in the background subtley. I used Archival Ink, lightly and inking the stamp and intentionally missing a few areas.

The word Amore is included in the set, there is also Love but I decided to put the Love diecut over the Amore.
