Spellbinders All My Senses Press + Foil Plate

I love the new Spellbinders Collection, All My Senses by Jaycee Gaspar. You can see the entire collection by clicking HERE. 

It's a fun, artsy look, a bit 70's, a bit Picasso. I love the cards I made with the plates.

My first card uses the Whisper Weave Press + Foil plate. You can either BetterPress the plate with ink or Glimmer hot foil it. I chose to use black hot foil it on this fabulous metallic cardstock from Your Paper Insider. It comes in a pack of 10 pieces of 8.5" x 11" that I cut into quarters for 4 A2 sized cards, so I get 40 card fronts from one package! You can find the link below under Supplies.

I really like hot foiling on metallic cardstock, the slick surface usually takes the hot foil easily.

My second card uses the same cardstock, just a different area of color. I black hot foiled the Perceptual Profiles Press + Foil Plate. It's the all over pattern of faces. The diecut matches the pattern, it's the very cool face, called Lines of Being. I used a scrap of black glitter cardstock to cut it out.

The face is cut out but you can use the negative space too. Here's a photo of the negative space, behind it is a piece of inked cardstock.

The sentiments on the cards are also from the collection. I hot foiled the entire plate on the same cardstock and used the matching die to cut them out. Easy!
