I recently received the Waffle Flower Open Book Trio dieset.
It's a set of these 3 books that you can stamp or stencil to make it look like open books. You can see the collection while available by clicking HERE.
I used Distress Oxide ink with the stencil for the books. Easy.
You can use your own small dies or stamps on these books, so cute. There are book related sentiments but I don't have those, so I looked through my stash and saw one I thought could work, "Experience is the only thing that brings knowledge." it's a BetterPress plate of sentiments from the Wizard of Oz. I used hot foil on black cardstock.
I put it all on navy cardstock and spattered gold watercolor on it.
I popped up the middle book with foam dots. I used 2 layers of cardstock for the sentiment to give it a bit of sturdiness.
