How fun is this May Large Die of the Month? It's called Pop of Summer. The soda can is so cute, only a portion of the can shows, so all the extra pieces have a landing spot.

I cut the can from red foil cardstock and behind it is white shimmer cardstock. The other diecuts are cut from scraps of already inked paper I had in my stash which gives it a hand painted look.
I wanted the background to look like the fizz that pops out of the soda can when it's opened. I took Black Mixed Media cardstock and sprayed it with Distress Spritz in a few colors. I love the effect.
I popped up the can, the fruit and the bird with some fun foam and foam pop dots, everything else is glued onto the card.
