The June 3D Embossing Folder of the Month is "Island Style". I embossed a piece of acetate and then colored the backside of the piece. Acetate is easy to emboss, I used a thin piece by We R Memory Keepers (I don't think this is widely avaiable anymore) but I have used many kinds of thicker acetate which works fine. I used the same sandwich as I do when embossing cardstock.
It's a print but I chose to highlight the face by painting it with gold acrylic paint. The rest of the embossed image is colored with alcohol inks in green and blues. After it all dried, I used Distress Collage Medium to attach it to a cardfront. I put a thin coat onto the backside of the acetate, attached it to the card and then put a book on top of it to let it dry and adhere.
I diecut the drum from the Stitching Die of the Month and the gorgeous tropical florals are from the Large Die of the Month.
