Spellbinders Autumn Serenade 3D Embossing Folder and Solar & Lunar Pastes

A few weeks ago I made a card using a Spellbinders 3D embossing folder of the month, which is sold out. A few people were disappointed about that so I wanted to show how you could use another embossing folder with the same technique. Today I used the new Spellbinders Serenade of Autumn embossing folder.

Here is a YouTube tutorial:

The process is pretty easy, using Black 110 lb cardstock, (from Hobby Lobby) I applied a thin coat Solar Paste with a foam blending tool. I let the paper completely dry.

Using the Ranger Archival black ink pad, I applied it to raised areas of the embossing folder. I then placed the Solar Paste panel into the folder and ran it through my Big Shot. The Archival Ink is pushed into the recessed area of the folder but doesn't completely cover it. The ink gives added dimension.

For the sentiment, I used the Autumn Serenade Sentiments die. I applied some of the Solar Paste to a piece of black cardstock and diecut it.

The secondary sentiment is Spellbinders Mini Christmas Sentiments, I used gold foil on a small piece of the same black cardstock.

All the products used are listed in the description below the video on YouTubewith direct links to either Spellbinders or Scrapbookcom. Blogpost doesn't like me to link too much, so I do it there to avoid my blog being put into hold.

Here are my clickable affiliate links to the Spellbinders and Scrapbookcom stores, using them at no additional cost to you is helpful to me, so thank you!
