Spellbinders Spring Sampler Collection by Simon Hurley

Today I'm sharing 2 Easter cards I made using the Spellbinders Spring Bunnies and Woven embossing folder by Simon Hurley.

The bunnies are a set of BetterPress plates and dies, so you can letter press the bunnies and diecut them out. Remember, you can also Glimmer Hot Foil these plates. An idea is to use black Glimmer hot foil to make these and that way you can avoid the possible smearing of the ink if y want to use Copic markers. I wanted the letter press look, it's so elegant on the BetterPress cardstock. I just avoided coloring over the markers.

I started with my background using the Woven embossing folder. Look at all that detail! I applied Simon Hurley's Lunar Paste in the new Breakup Blue color (gorgeous) with a foam tool onto Scrapbookcom's new Mixed Media paper.
