The Sizzix Tim Holtz “Bunny and Chick” ( no chick here) and “Wildflowers”. The bunny is cut from a velvet like paper and a sparkly pink paper included in one of the boxes from Your Paper Insider. The Wildflowers are cut from Distress Watercolor Paper and loosely painted with watercolors. I really need to make it a goal to use more of the specialty papers included in the Your Paper Insider boxes. This paper is not available outside of the box. But it's so cool. The pink sparkly paper is beautiful. I have to use a bigger piece of it on another project.
The background is from my stash. It's a gel print on copy paper. I brayerd Distress Oxides onto the gel plate and then pressed an embossing folder onto the plate. I did this to get the color onto the embossing folder. I decided to pull the print from the plate and you can see some of the floral image, if you look closely. Kinda cool for a subtle wildflower look. Here's the photo of the card I made from the embossing folder. If you're interested in this card, I have a post on January 20 with a link to my YouTube video.
If you look closely behind the bunny, you can see the gauze I put down as a blanket. I wish I had either doubled it up or stained it with ink so you could see it better. Woulda, coulda, shoulda.
The thing I like about Tim Holtz diecuts is that just putting them down on inked paper, they look good. Like magic. The designs are so well done, it doesn't take much. I put the sticker in the corner as the sentiment. That's it. Too easy.
Below are a list of the products I used. My links to the stores give me a small commission at no additional cost to you.
