Spellbinders Propagation Garden

Sometimes a collection comes along and I want it all. That is the case with Spellbinders Propagation Garden by Annie Williams

For the background, I ink blended from light to dark, using Distress Oxides. I have tried to blend with other inks but found that Distress Oxides are the easiest. They go on smoothly and transition beautifully. For the yellow background, I used Scattered Straw, Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed. For the pink background, I used Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Lumberjack Plaid and a bit of Aged Mahogany. I then embossed it with "Leafy Helix" embossing folder. I embossed one with the raised side, the other with the recessed side so you can see the difference. Both look good.

I cut the containers from white cardstock and inked it with blue Distress Ink. I then diecut thin acetate to layer over the top to look like glass. The wood is real Cherry Wood paper from My Paper Insider.
