Susanbcards: SSS Ear-Resistibly Cute Stamps from the Rain or Shine Collection

Another cute bunny set from Simon Says Stamp for their Rain or Shine Collection, March 2025. I received the "Ear-Resistibly Cute" stamp set. There is a matching dieset but I didn't receive it. You can see the entire Rain or Shine Collection by clicking HERE.

I stamped the bunny heads onto white cardstock, colored them in with Copic markers, I'm not a fancy colorist. After that I fussy cut the bunny heads. It wasn't difficult.

My cards are A2 size, I cut 3 squares 3.5" x 3.5" from white cardstock. I put each on my sticky mat and ink blended 3 shades of 3 different color Distress Oxide inks on each paper, going from light to dark. Using a sticky mat helps keep the small piece of paper in place so I don't accidently bend it while blending.

I put the white card onto my Misti stamp platform and lined up the sentiment and the inked square to be sure they would fit nicely. You don't want to attach the square and then find out your sentiment doesn't fit! I then stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Then adhered the square.

I diecut baskets from kraft cardstock, I layered 2 together for stability.

I took some Green Paper Shred, it looks like the grass from Easter baskets but not plastic. I think most people use it for packing for gift bags or gift boxes. You can find it in the Easter section, even my grocery store had it. The paper type is easier to glue and trim as needed.

I glued a bit to the back of the basket and then put a small mound on the paper. I put my basket over it to be sure it looked good. Once I was sure it looked good, I put some white glue down and attached a few strands at a time. I tried using hot glue but I'm just not good with a glue gun. Do whatever works better for you.

I glued the back of the basket to the mound of paper shred and put a few pop dots on the back of the bottom of the basket so it would stay flat. I put an acrylic stamp block on top of it to hold it down.

Yep, it's Ear-resistibly cute! It would also make a cute tag.
