For the card I made today, I decided to try and make a similar background but with ink. The first card uses a printed paper. I saw SBC fest and one of the instructors showed how to make a background using Distress Sprays in Rusty Hinge and Salvaged Patina. You can see it HERE. I randomly stamped the background with black Archival ink to add a little interest.
Everything was cut from black Mixed Media paper. The paper I use is heavy weitght and can stand up to wet products like sprays and the Lunar Paste I used. Here's some photos of what I used.
