Susanbcards: Spellbinders Gifting Bow & Christmas Cameos 3D Embossing Folder

The Spellbinders Merry Moments Collection is centered around the Merry Moments Cardmaking Kit. If you didn't see the cards I made using this kit, you can see them HERE, I also have a YouTube video HERE.

For this card, I used a few add-on products from the collection. I used the Gifting Bow dieset as the centerpiece and the Christmas Cameos 3D embossing folder for the background paper. I love the color of the background, it's Spellbinders cardstock, it looks like a pretty coral, I listed under supplies. I made it a bit darker by taking an embossing ink pad and rubbing it over the inside front of the embossing folder. When put throught the Big Shot, it pushed the ink into the recessed areas of the paper. I then took a white pigment ink pad and rubbed it over the raised areas of the paper, then poured clear embossing powder over the entire thing. I like the way the paper looks like tile, and the cameos look like real cameos. You can certainly skip the embossing ink and clear embossing powder, just rub the white ink pad over the raised areas and get the same effect.

The Gifting Bow dieset is cut from scraps I had, I used a few pop dots to raise up some of the flowers, the bow dies are cut 2x just for sturdiness, they are stacked together. The set includes 2 sentiments, and I chose Merry & Bright. The other sentiment says, A Gift for You. Perfect for gift cards or tags. I really like when the sentiments are included in the sets, no hunting for the right one.
