I started with the background which is Distress Watercolor Cardstock, Brutus Monroe Aqua Pigments (I used blue and purple) and a spritz of Chroma Mist. I dropped some on a craft mat. I love the splatters it produces. I mist my paper, then pull it through, dry it and then pounce my paper into the ink over and over, drying between layers.
I diecut bird bodies from the same watercolor paper, and used watercolors to paint the birds to give them pretty dimension. I cut the MERRY and the snow from a scrap of white glitter foam. One of those things I bought over 15 years ago. LOL.
The snowflakes are stickers from Spellbinders. I poppped up the birds with foam dots, everything else is glued flat. That's it!
