I used the Cheer and Good Tidings Deer on both my cards, just changing the background. I used Glimmer Hot foil for the deers rather than the BetterPress System.

On my first card, I used brown cardstock with Copper Glimmer hot foil. I then diecut the deer with the die that is included in the set. There is also a sentiment and diecut that I did the same. I used a bit of Hazelnut Copic marker for a bit of shading on the deer. I added 2 more deer diecuts underneath the top layer for a bit of dimension, I did the same to the sentiment.

The background is copper metallic cardstock from Michaels, I used the Stars and Fronds Frame 3D embossing folder on it. So pretty! After embossing it, I wiped some black acrylic paint over the top and wiped away most of the excess just to highlight and age the cardstock.

My 2nd card is Glimmer hot foil on Onyx Matte Metallic Cardstock from the Treasured Cardstock pack. This cardstock has a slight shimmer but the real attraction is how smooth it is. It foils like a dream. I copied the registration plate for this deer on white copy paper so I could put it on my Glimmer hot foil machine. I then hot foiled the stars in gold and the deer in copper. I love the smooth look of this card, dramatic!
