For today's card I used several items from Spellbinders Bibi's Musical Notes Collection. You can see the entire collection HERE.
I decided to add the pop up element to the inside of the card. This can be used for other themes, wouldn't it look great with snowflakes?
Here's a quick video showing how to diecut and attach the spiral element:
It's actually pretty simple. I cut 2 panels from pink cardstock (mine is 65lb) they measured 5 1/4" square. I wanted a border on my white
5 1/2" square card.
The die cuts the spiral but leaves one end attached to the base. I adhered this base to the inside of the card, applying glue all around the spiral but NOT on the spiral. I placed a bit of glue to the center of the spiral only, closed the card to attach it to the other side of the card. Perfect placement that way.
