Peace Deer with Your Paper Insider Box 13 Paper

I used two papers from Box 13 on my card today. The Light Blue Mizulama Rayon sheet, which feels like a gauzy fabric and the Light Blue Non Shed Glitter Paper. I also used their watercolor paper, it's cold press, 140 lb/300 gsm, very heavy weight. It comes in a pack of 50 (8.5x11") sheets. I cut it in quarters so I have 200 A2 size sheets, perfect for card fronts. I like to ink up watercolor paper with Distress inks just to have on hand, the texture looks great. I used shades of brown for the deer.

I used Tim Holtz/Sizzix dies for all the diecuts. The trees are cut only once, the PEACE is cut 3x for dimension, the deer are cut 2x each.

The gauzy paper is light weight, easiest to cut with a guillotine trimmer to avoid ripping it. If you use a regular trimmer, use care, I always place the blade away from the edge to start, then carefully slide it up and down. For the glue, I did what I do for vellum, place the glue behind the diecuts to hide it. Don't use too much glue, as with fabric, it would pucker. I used a small amount applied with my finger. This paper easily adhered to the glitter cardstock.
