Susanbcards: Spellbinders January 2026 Press+ Foil Club

Spellbinders has updated some of their clubs. The hot foil club has been combined with the BetterPress club. All BetterPress plates can be either inked or hot foiled, so it made sense for them to combine the 2 clubs together (Glimmer hot foil plates CAN't be BetterPress inked) and now it's one kit that includes the press plate and a roll of hot foil. In the past I almost always wanted hot foiled the press plates anyway, I'm a bit lazy and don't like to have to clean ink off anything if I don't have to.

This month's Press Plate is called Post Card Hello. As of this writing, the press plate is out of stock. Hopefully this will be restocked. I would definitely click the Notify Me When Available button if you're interested. This is definitely why it's great to join a club, you're guaranteed to receive it. This plate has a gorgeous vintage look. I used the included roll of hot foil. I put it on a dusty pink cardstock and inked the edges with some Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. I have a razor blade to scuff up the edges of the paper, just lightly, to give it a worn look. I colored in the bird and leaves with Copic markers. If you buy the All Clubs Crate (formerly known as the Deluxe Caboodle) you will receive a stencil that will color in the image as a bonus item. I added some small flowers on the right side under the sentiment (the sentiment plate is included in the set. The flowers are from the Small Die of the Month Club. Here is a card I made using that dieset:

You can see I used the small cluster of flowers from this set cutting it 3x and adhering them on the card and glued on a twine bow.
