Spellbinders May Press + Foil Plate

Oh, rainbow foil, you're my favorite! This is the May Press + Foil Plate, Up & Away. You can learn more about the Spellbinders Clubs and the benefits of membership by clicking HERE.  Sadly the rainbow foil is on clearance, but you can still get it while available. There is a thin stiped rainbow foil not on clearance.

The plate's image is the outline of the hot air balloon so they can be colored in, especially good if you BetterPress the image. I decided to hot foil the image because I'm not much of a colorist. The rainbow foil adds so much color, I love it.

I also took the leftover foil with the negative image and a solid plate to make another image. The center area didn't come out 100%, so I decided to use it as a mat. You can see it on the edge of the card above. I matched it up with the outline image and thought it looked pretty good. If I did it over I would have cropped the top image a bit more so you could see the mat more. Oh well. 

The HBD balloons are from a few months ago, I thought it would be fun to have 2 kinds of balloons! The Things are Looking Up sentiment is included in the Up & Away kit.
