Spellbinders October 2026 Embossing Folder of the Month

 

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the Spellbinders October 2026 Embossing Folder of the Month. I love the party like pattern on this folder! I used it vertically but many people are using it horizontally and making it the sweater pattern with the Stitching Die of the Month. I made a card yesterday using the Stitching Die of the Month:

You can see I used a different embossing folder that looks like a knit stitch. The Stitching Die of the Month is a play on the holiday ugly sweater. The teeth are from the old song, "All I Want for Christmas are My Two Front Teeth."

I saw on social media people are using it to send to their dentists or hygenists. Do you send cards to your dentist? I send mine money. LOL. I did once send a card to my hygenist because we talked about the cards I make.

Anyway, back to the card. I used plain white cardstock with the folder since I made a rainbow of birds from the Small Die of the Month. I attached a piece of string to the card and cut the birds from scraps of cardstock. I used foam dots to pop them off the card. Extra cute.

The sentiment is from a Tim Holtz stamp set called Tiny Text. Probably one of my all time favorite sentiment stamps.
