The new release from Simon Says Stamp is called "Be Bold". I received the Whirl Blossom dieset. It's a whirl pattern flower with an outline die. So I cut the blossom from white cardstock and inked it with Distress Oxide in Picked Raspberry. The outline is cut from gold metallic cardstock. The whirls on the petals can be left flat but I used my Place and Pierce Tool and pushed them up from the back to give it a little dimension.
The background on the first card is Spellbinders indigo cardstock. I think Spellbinders has some really great cardstock, heavy weight and some great colors. I'd check out their cardstock if you get a chance!
The background stamp is called
Talavara Vine. it's not new but it's a great red rubber background stamp, such a pretty image in gold metallic or inked. I used my favorite gold embossing powder. It's by Brutus Monroe, it's called Gilded.
The sentiment is called Boho Celebrate, such a pretty font and it includes the shadow die, which I cut from vellum.
My second card has a spring like feel, using the same dies and background stamp. I stamped it using some Distress inks in Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. I lightly spritzed the stamp with water before stamping it. The flowers are all cut from white cardstock, inked with Distress Oxide in Picked Raspberry and Villainous Potion. The stamped sentiment is from Blissful Bouquet, another oldie but goody. The stamps in that set are gorgeous.
That's it for today. I hope you like my cards. I have affiliate links you can click (click the image or link) to take you to the supplies. If you use those links it lets SSS know you find my content useful and I can continue providing ideas with their products. Either way, thanks for looking.
