Susanbcards: Spellbinders Peony Background Press Plate and Many Cards!

The Let's Celebrate Collection by Yana Smakula for Spellbinders is gorgeous! I used the Peony Background BetterPress Plate for these cards and got a bit carried away. Of course you can use it with the BetterPress System which presses the ink into the cardstock for a letter press look. Easy.

But what if you want different looks? What if you don't like to color or want to try other media? I started and couldn't stop. The photo above is patterned cardstock and black foil using the Glimmer foiling system.

Here I took the leftover foil and reverse foiled it on metallic cardstock! Gorgeous.

Here I reversed foiled again but on acetate and popped it up over patterned cardstock. I used black fun foam strategically placed under the black areas to pop up the acetate for a floating look.

These are BetterPress Inked over Lunar and Solar Pastes!

Reverse gold foil over patterned cardstock.

Pigment ink on the press plate and BetterPressed onto cotton cardstock.

Here is a photo of the cards I made with the Paper Rose "Urban Garden" paper. I hot foiled it with gold Glimmer foil and the Cosmos Backdrop BetterPress Plate. The sprig is from the Autumn Sealed Sprig dieset.
