I don't send many St. Patrick's Day cards so when I do make them, I want to use my everyday products rather than buying a specific item.
This is the perfect example, Simon Says Stamp's Fine Floral Stem. I diecut the stem 2x rom Distress Watercolor paper and cut one flower off. just so it didn't overlap too much.
I used Distress inks and dragged, dried, dipped and splattered in shades of green- Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Shabby Shutters, Pine Needles and just a bit of Distress Mica Stain in Holly Branch and Wicked Elixir. After it dried, I glued it onto my background.
The background is Distress Oxide, ink blended on Distress Heavystock paper. The colors I used were, Saltwater Taffy, Kitsch Flamingo, Scattered Straw, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey. It was all prettty random ink blending. I spattered the whole thing with Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic Paint in Titanium White. The gold paper is a scrap I had in my scrap drawer. It looks like glitter cardstock, not sure whose it was. The sentiment is Tim Holtz Tiny Text stamps, isn't the saying perfect? I gold heat embossed the word Lucky with Brutus Monroe's Gilded embossing powder. It really is the smoothest, finest embossing powder.
That's it for today. Have a "Lucky" day.
