Susan Tierney-Cockburn has a new release with Spellbinders called, "Natures Botanical Bounty". I used the Quince dieset. I really like learning all the intricacies about the flowers she designs. Check out her YT videos to see how to put these dies together.
For my card today, I pulled a background from my stash. It's blue Brutus Monroe Watercolor Pigments. I put them on my craft mat and drag and dry, dip and dry, spritz with water my paper. Dreamy.
I watched Susan's video on how to put these flowers together. I don't have her tool set but I do have the Tim Holtz set, which helps you give the flowers a realistic dimensional look. I diecut white Neenah cardstock and colored them with Distress inks using a blending brush. I used pop dots to give even more dimension. Then I splattered the entire panel with white acrylic paint. The paint doesn't stay stark white because Distress ink is reactive, the paint will take some of the ink color.
