I think this Spellbinders Stitching Die of the Month for August is so cute. FYI there are also dies included so you don't have to stitch any of the pieces, if you don't want to. This makes the set a 2-in-1 and a great value.
I ink smooshed some Distress inks in Scattered Straw, Mowed Lawn, Picked Raspberry, Spieced Marmelade, and Seedless Preserves. Dry in between layers to get all the dots and splashes. My favorite paper for this, and yes, it does matter, is Distress Heavystock. I buy the 8.5" x 11" size and cut it down to whatever size I need. In this case, to fit a 5x7" card.
A while back, I saw an artist who painted her paintbrushes, which was so pretty. I decided to cut a scrap of floral paper for my paintbrush, which set the pastel tone.
That's it! For supplies, please use my links below, it lets the companies know you find my links helpful. I genuinely appreciate it.
