My go to color palette is brights but lately I've been influenced by all the soft colors I've seen on Instagram. I pulled out Your Paper Insider's Box 11 and was immediately attracted to the Unryu papers. Here's a closer look:
They are semi transparent, the color you put behind this paper can influence the way it looks. I used the white, purple and green sheets for my card. The texture creates a subtle interest. It is a delicate paper, you could use a piece of copy paper underneath it to make it easier to diecut. It's more sturdy than traditional tissue paper but it is easily ripped.
Here's a quick video of the Box 11 contents:
I used the Concord and 9th Paper Posy to diecut all the flowers and the matching embossing folder to give texture to the petals. I have another card I made in brights with this set HERE. I added a few Spellbinders gemstones for a little bling. That's it, easy!
