Susanbcards: Spellbinders Regal Reflections "Regal Lattice" 3D Folder

Today I'm using the Regal Reflections Collection from Spellbinders. It has an Asian influence, embellished arches and the look of pottery. You can see the entire colleciton by clicking HERE.

I used the Regal Lattice 3D Folder for the backgrounds on both cards. The folder creates 2 A2 sized backgrounds. For the card with the vase, I used the all over lattice design on gold metallic paper. After embossing the paper, I used a small amount of black acrylic paint and rubbed it into the recessed areas. I used a slightly damp paper towel and wiped off the excess so the recessed area is highlighted.

I also used the Arch Punch and Pierce Plate with the same gold metallic cardstock to highlight the vase. The die cuts 3 arches at once, I only used the 2 smaller ones.

The Regal Blooms Etched dieset is a set of flowers and a vase. The vase has small piercings like the arch. I used some scrap cardstock for all the leaves, stems and flowers. I did cut a few of the stems to fit onto my card.

My second card uses the top half of the embossing folder, the bamboo arch with leaves, as you can see I used black acrylic paint on the gold metallic again. The dogs are from the Regal Pair dieset. In real life, they would be made of stone as a decorative set. They symbolize power, protection and prosperity. They are placed near entrances to keep away evil spirits.

There is a sentiment stamp set, but I didn't receive it. You can see the sentiments below under the SUPPLIES.
