Today is the February Your Paper Insider Design Team Instagram Hop! Today we're using Box 14 which recently shipped! Click HERE to go to the Your Paper Insider Store.
The box is full of beautiful specialty papers, like this Dusty Rose Yuzenshi Chiyogami paper. This Japanese paper is soft yet durable, it has a raised design on the paper with gold metallic highlights. It served as the inspiration for my birthday card.
I made cream flowers using the Spellbinders Love in a Mist dieset. After I cut the petals from cream cardstock, I ink blended the edges with Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide ink. It was a close match! For the flower centers, I used an embossing pen to tip the stamen and gold heat emboss them. I cut the leaves from gold metallic paper.
I diecut an oval from cream cardstock and embossed it with an old (2022) Simon Says Stamp embossing folder, Blossom Field, I'll link it below if it's still available.
The sentiment is a favorite from Spellbinders, I BetterPress inked and Glimmer hot foil a bunch of these to have on hand.
Supplies are listed below with direct links to the stores that carry them (where they were in stock at the time of this writing). If you use my link to make a purchase, I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. This really helps me continue providing information. Thank you.
