I make a lot of cards to donate and often see requests for Veterans. So although this set is great for the 4th and Memorial Day, I think it makes a great gratitude card to send to a Veteran.
A few days ago I used the Musical Notes and Stave Pop Up dieset with the Large Die of the Month. You can see that post HERE. I loved the interactive nature of the card and the surprise when you open it, so I decided to use it again today. I love it! It would also be great with snowflakes in the winter or leaves in the fall, wouldn't it? The die sold out 2x, so if you're interested in it, I'd jump on it. I have it linked in my supply list.
I took an A2 card (4.15 x 5.5" folded) and embossed the right side of the card then the left side of the card. The bonus embossing folder is A2 sized.
I used all the dies in the bonus set, cut from red, white, blue, light blue and yellow cardstocks. I used a scrap of gold paper for the flag pole. The USA letters are cut from an older Pooh Bear dieset. The stars are cut from metallic cardstock, the dots are a scrap of holographic cardstock cut with a hold punch. You could also use sequins but I've been using a hole punch lately and really like the size. Don't put anything too heavy on the spiral, it'll weigh it down.
I used some fun foam and popped up the hat, flag and rocket on the front of the card. I didn't add fun foam to the inside of the card, I wanted to be able to close it easily.
