Spellbinders June Press + Foil Plate of the Month, Aloha Hibiscus

This is the gorgeous Aloha Hibiscus, the Spellbinders June Press + Foil Plate of the Month. I love that you can use this plate with both the Glimmer System or the BetterPress System. I personally love hot foil. The kit comes with the Hibiscus plate, a sentiment plate, an edger die (it cuts the right edge of the flower) and a roll of Glimmer foil.

I used the foil that came with the kit, Matte Gold. I hot foiled it onto white smooth cardstock and used Copics to color in the images and the blue background. I used the edger die to cut it out but you don't have to, I just thought it made it look extra special. I hot foiled the sentiment directly onto the fuchsia card front.

I didn't want to throw away the negative foil leftover, it looked pretty good, so I used a solid plate to foil it on another piece of white cardstock, used the edger die to cut it out and placed it onto a black card front. Same sentiment hot foiled onto it.
