I haven't played around with alcohol inks for a long time. When I saw the Spellbinders June Die of the Month were the sea turtles, I knew I could make a fun underwater scene. This dieset is called Mahalo Sea Turtles, you can find it HERE. It's a fun set, it includes a die that cuts out a background so you can make a shaker card, see the illustration under my supply list.

For the background, I used an 4.25" x 5.5" piece of Yupo paper. Below is a quick video on how I made it.
The key to this background is Isopropyl Alcohol to move the alcohol inks around and shades of blue ink. I like a navy blue, light blue and greenish blue. The actual colors I used: Cloudy Blue, Pool, Turquoise, Denim and Bottle (green).
I added just a touch of gold ink too, it's Gilded Alloy . I kept layering colors and blowing it around, filling my paper. At the end I took a mini-mister and sprayed a bit on to look like air bubbles.
The turtles are cut from shades of green cardstock.
