Susanbcards: Spellbinders Beautifully Imperfect!

My arm is finally healed, it's just a matter of PT to get it back to where it was. I'm trying to catch up with the still. This one is my favorite from . It's called . It includes dies, embossing folders, and some gorgeous paper products. I didn't receive the paper products but I'm thinking about ordering a few and the ! You can see the entire collection HERE.

On my card today, I used the Crackle Paint and the Tangled Threads dieset.

For the background, I took a piece of and sprayed onto the paper. I used , , , and a few quick spritzs of in . I ran a pad over the Crackle Paint embossing folder to push the brown color into the cracks. Love it!

I cut a piece of white cardstock with the Perfect Touch Arches die to fit on my A2 card. You can't see it very well, but I took the Deckled Edge Script die and embossed the arch. It gives a hint of writing on it. I used Distress ink to age the paper.

I cut 2 of the "threads" dies with Kraft cardstock, and placed them under and on top of the arch.

I diecut the gorgeous flower/weed from the Field Notes Wildflower dieset, an older set and one of my all time favorites. I had some inked paper on hand and used that. I glued the stems down and popped up the flowers with foam dots. Here's a photo I shared a few months ago using this collection (you can see this post HERE):

The sentiment I used is Glimmer hot foiled. It's from the Wonder of Oz Collection.
